In July, I did a residency at the Rebel Art Gallery in Chemnitz with artists ofthe F:15 collective. I built Suspiro/Memória, a kinetic installation made of thousands of VHS tapes.
Quiet Storm: Experimenting with the beetles
In early June, I returned to Protiberia in Villamalea for the Quiet Storm: Music for Insects project. With Quiet Storm, we want to use sound to enhance the mating process of the Tenebrio molitor beetle. By integrating insects into agriculture, we hope to improve sustainability and open up new avenues for economic development in rural areas. At the same time, Quiet Storm encourages us to consider beetles as sensitive beings.
